Maxter B – Tasty
Afro fusion artist Maxter B steps into 2026 with confidence and clarity as he releases his new single Tasty, a vibrant love driven record that blends infectious rhythm with heartfelt storytelling.
The single arrives as a follow up to his previous body of work, Worry Dem, a six track project that introduced listeners to his evolving sound and emotional depth. While Worry Dem reflected resilience, self belief, and personal growth, Tasty shifts the focus toward intentional love and meaningful connection, showing another dimension of the artist’s creative range.
On Tasty, Maxter B delivers an energetic Afro inspired groove layered with playful melodies and culturally resonant lyrics. The song challenges the belief that money and hustle should always take priority over affection. Instead, he makes a compelling case for choosing love deliberately, asking a powerful question through his lyrics: what is the use of success if there is no one to share it with?
The hook, “I am so Tasty for love oh,” is simple yet magnetic, designed for repeat listens and crowd engagement. Through relatable lines and familiar imagery, including comparisons to rice and jollof, the song feels both locally grounded and universally appealing.
Speaking on the record, Maxter B explains, “After Worry Dem, I wanted to show another side of me. Growth is not just about overcoming challenges, it is also about embracing love and connection. Tasty represents that softness and intention.”
With its vibrant production, memorable chorus, and emotionally conscious message, Tasty positions Maxter B strongly for the year ahead. The release signals artistic maturity and reinforces his ability to move seamlessly between reflective storytelling and feel good energy.
