PalmPay issues arrest warnings to media outlets over KudiWave reports

A new phase has emerged in the dispute involving PalmPay Limited and KudiWave Technologies Limited, with media organisations that reported developments in the matter said to have received messages from PalmPay warning of possible arrest and demanding the removal of published stories.

The warnings followed media coverage of two major developments in the dispute. The first concerned the movement of N750,369,439.04 from KudiWave’s account by PalmPay. The second involved PalmPay’s reported position that KudiWave’s address and the ownership of the account were unknown, a claim KudiWave later challenged with documents and evidence of previous dealings between both companies.

One of the major pieces of evidence presented by KudiWave was a PalmPay correspondence dated July 28, which expressly identified KudiWave Technologies Limited and Account No. 8889232516.

In the same letter, PalmPay asked the Nigeria Police Force to transfer N750,369,439.04, which it described as standing in a designated Police Recovery Account, back to KudiWave Technologies Limited’s account.

The correspondence therefore identified KudiWave by name, specified the account number linked to the company and directed that the disputed funds be returned to that same account, raising questions over PalmPay’s reported position that the account ownership was unknown.

KudiWave also presented evidence of an earlier physical engagement between both companies. It provided a photograph from a March visit to its Lagos headquarters involving three top PalmPay officials whom KudiWave described as Chinese and accompanied by a Nigerian police escort.

Media organisations reported these materials as part of their continuing coverage of the dispute.

It was after this round of reporting that some publishers reportedly began receiving messages from PalmPay demanding that the stories be removed and warning of possible arrest if the publications remained online.

The reports themselves stemmed from a legal and financial dispute between PalmPay and KudiWave, which had already reached the Federal High Court in Lagos.

A June 29 court order had affected KudiWave’s funds, prompting the company to file an application on July 3 seeking to have the order set aside and its execution stayed.

Justice Ibrahim Ahmad Kala heard the application on July 13 and reserved his decision.

Two days after that hearing, KudiWave’s account records showed that PalmPay removed N750,369,439.04 from the account under the narration “Judicial Adjustment” while the matter was still awaiting the court’s ruling, claiming that the transaction was carried out pursuant to the June 29 order and rejecting suggestions that the transfer fell outside the authority of that order.

The court eventually ruled on July 22, vacating the June 29 order and directing that restrictions placed on KudiWave’s account be removed.

PalmPay’s July 28 letter followed that ruling, identifying KudiWave and its account before requesting that N750,369,439.04 be returned to the company. The funds, however, were not returned, and the dispute continued.

The latest reported warnings to publishers have now moved part of the attention from the financial dispute itself to the treatment of media organisations covering it.

With the reports arising from developments already connected to the dispute, the takedown demands have raised fresh concerns over why PalmPay is seeking the removal of the coverage instead of resolving the underlying matter that led to the reports in the first place.

Jay Footcare Detox Pads: How They Work, Benefits, and What to Expect

    About Jay-Footcare

Jay-Footcare is a trusted wellness brand dedicated to helping individuals live healthier lives through natural foot care solutions. Founded and led by CEO Samuel Lawrence, Jay-Footcare has proudly represented the Kinoki Natural Detox Footpad in Nigeria for over a decade.

Originally developed in China, this product has gained international recognition for its effectiveness in toxin removal and overall wellness support.

What Is Detox and Why Is It Important?

Detox, short for detoxification, is the process of removing harmful toxins and waste that build up in the body due to stress, pollution, poor diet, or everyday lifestyle choices.

When the body holds on to these toxins, it can lead to fatigue, body pains, headaches, poor circulation, and weakened immunity.
This is where Kinoki Natural Toxin Removal Pads come in.

    Why Kinoki Detox Pads Work

Kinoki Detox Pads are made with natural ingredients that stimulate the reflex points on the soles of your feet—where many toxins accumulate. When applied overnight, the pads help draw out impurities through the skin using safe, gentle methods.

    They Work By:

✔ Absorbing toxins while you sleep
✔ Stimulating blood flow and energy pathways
✔ Supporting the body’s natural detox process without drugs or chemicals

Many users report feeling more refreshed, lighter, and energetic after regular use.

How Long Does It Take to Detox?

The duration of detoxing with Kinoki footpads varies from person to person:

    • Standard Use (7 Days): If the used pads appear less sticky and discolored after 7 days, your detox may be complete.
    • Extended Detox (Up to 30 Days): If the pads remain black and sticky, this may indicate higher toxin levels. Continue nightly use until the pads begin to lighten.
    • Maintenance: Once detox is complete, apply once or twice weekly to maintain health and balance.
    • Repeat Detox: We recommend restarting the full program every 8 weeks to support long-term wellness.

    Take Note

        • Used pads will appear dark greenish or grayish, showing the absorption of toxins.
        • Continue nightly use until the pads show signs of lightening.
        • For maintenance, reduce to once or twice per week.

Benefits Of Kinoki Natural Toxin Removal Pads

        • Releases harmful toxins
        • Boosts your energy levels
        • Reduces headaches, aches, and body pain
        • Relieves stress and mental fatigue
        • Improves metabolism
        • Supports better blood circulation
        • Easy to use — just apply before bed and wake up refreshed

At JayFootcare, we believe your journey to better health starts from the ground up — quite literally. Step into wellness with every use.

  • Entourage Integrated Trust: The Unsung Giant of Nigeria’s Microfinance Sector

Entourage Integrated Trust: The Unsung Giant of Nigeria’s Microfinance Sector

Entourage Integrated Trust: The Unsung Giant of Nigeria’s Microfinance Sector

In Nigeria’s rapidly evolving microfinance landscape, much of the spotlight has been claimed by fintech startups and digital lenders promising instant access to credit at the tap of a button. Names like FairMoney, Carbon, and Renmoney dominate urban billboards and digital ad spaces, targeting the country’s growing population of smartphone users.

Yet beyond the glare of digital marketing, a quieter player has been steadily building a reputation for consistency, trust, and scale: Entourage Integrated Trust. With a presence in 29 states and a decade-long track record, Entourage is positioning itself as one of Nigeria’s most impactful microfinance institutions – without the noise.

    ⸻

    A Relationship-Based Model in a Digital Age

While many newer entrants in the micro-lending space are fully app-based, Entourage continues to rely on a hybrid model. At its core is a relationship-driven approach – field officers embedded in markets and communities across Nigeria. These officers act as the human face of the brand, meeting business owners in person, assessing their needs, and providing tailored financial solutions.

This model, while less scalable than pure digital platforms, has allowed Entourage to address a critical gap in Nigeria’s financial ecosystem: access for the informal sector. Many of their clients lack collateral, bank statements, or formal credit history. Yet they are traders, artisans, and micro-entrepreneurs – the backbone of the Nigerian economy.

_“Our priority has always been financial inclusion,” says Mr. Seyi Asagun, CEO of Entourage Integrated Trust. “We designed our loan products to work with real businesses and real people, not just spreadsheets.”_

    ⸻

    Building Scale Through Grassroots Reach

Entourage’s operations now span nearly three-quarters of the country, rivaling more digitally visible competitors in geographic spread. The company’s field agents engage directly with clients to manage applications, disbursements, and repayments, ensuring a level of personalized service rare in the microfinance sector.

This approach has contributed to a strong repayment culture among its clients and fostered a level of community trust that is difficult to replicate through algorithms alone.

    ⸻

A Future Focused on Digital Transformation

Recognizing the shifts in consumer behavior and the growing demand for convenience, Entourage is investing in digital platforms designed to appeal to younger, more tech-savvy entrepreneurs and salaried workers.

The plan, according to Deputy Managing Director Mr. Nkafuonye Phillip, is not to abandon its grassroots model but to layer digital innovation on top of its physical presence. This hybrid strategy could prove pivotal in serving Nigeria’s diverse borrower segments—from market traders to urban professionals.

    ⸻

    Consistency as a Competitive Advantage

In a sector often characterized by aggressive marketing and short-term competition for market share, Entourage Integrated Trust’s strength lies in its measured, long-term approach. It has focused on building a loyal customer base in underserved areas while preparing for a future that blends its human-centric service model with modern technology.

As the company eyes nationwide coverage, it is increasingly clear that being the loudest voice in the room is not the only path to relevance. For Entourage, impact and trust have been the strategy all along.

  • Why Entourage Loans Is the Trusted Choice for Nigeria’s Small Business Owners

Why Entourage Loans Is the Trusted Choice for Nigeria’s Small Business Owners

Why Entourage Loans Is the Trusted Choice for Nigeria’s Small Business Owners

In Nigeria’s growing microfinance space, loan seekers are bombarded with options that promise fast money — often with fine print they can’t understand and repayment terms that leave them worse off. But amid the noise, one platform continues to earn the loyalty of everyday entrepreneurs: Entourage Loans.

With operations in 29 states and a client base that spans traders, shop owners, artisans, and small-scale manufacturers, Entourage Loans is quietly reshaping how small businesses access capital — not just with speed, but with clarity, consistency, and care.

Unlike fully digital lenders that focus on app-based loans, Entourage Loans maintains a strong grassroots presence, working through field agents who know their markets. These agents visit clients, explain terms in plain language, and build relationships that extend beyond the first loan.

For customers who have been excluded by traditional banks — due to lack of collateral, formal credit history, or complex paperwork — Entourage’s model feels refreshingly approachable. No long queues. No confusing terms. No hidden charges.

Clients typically receive funds within 24–48 hours after application, and repayment plans are tailored to their income cycles — whether they’re daily traders or monthly earners.

*Track Record of Trust and Growth*

Entourage Loans also reports strong repayment culture, a testament to both the quality of its borrowers and the support it offers after loans are disbursed. From reminders to restructuring assistance, the platform works to ensure repayment doesn’t become a burden.

And as inflation pressures squeeze small businesses across Nigeria, Entourage continues to stand out not by making louder promises — but by delivering real results for those who keep the country’s informal economy running.

Whether you’re a pepper seller in Ibadan or a salon owner in Jos, Entourage Loans is proving that trust and access can go hand in hand.

Understanding Job Descriptions: The Way To Employment

    Before
finding a job or making a move to search for vacancies, you should know what
you have to offer the company or establishment.

    Many
years ago, I tried to help a lady who was vulnerable on the street. She was a
college first-year student who lost her parents, and with a zeal to complete
her undergraduate programme she depended on random men and commercialized her
body. We came into contact, and she admitted my observations were true and
sought a genuine source of supply.

    The
available vacancy I saw was a sales representative (sales girl), and I prepared
her a curriculum vitae and an application letter. She was accepted at a
supermarket where she cleans and arranges the goods. Her salary was enough to
take care of her immediate needs and pay her fees and bills as and when due.

    Months
later I visited them for shopping and saw her sitting relaxed and watching
videos on her phone. I scolded her and said, “If all you do is press your phone
and watch videos during your free period or when the workload is less, you will
soon lose your job. “There’s something you can do during such a moment
that will catapult you to a higher level—like becoming the manager.”

    She
couldn’t believe she had become a manager in such a big supermarket from a
sales representative on trial. But what I told her is what I told her is what
you need to pay attention to in this article. Among other things, you should
learn if you want to be fully employed, promoted, and valued in your place of
    work.

    This
article is for everyone, irrespective of your academic qualification—from no
certificate to the highest degree you could ever think of.

    We are
so familiar with the statement “no job.” I agree—only if you have done the
right thing and with all things being done right you still don’t find a job.
Don’t forget that even with the “no job” slogan, people are employed on a daily
    basis. What did they do?

    Before
finding a job or making a move to search for vacancies, you should know what
you have to offer the company or establishment. It is your understanding of
what you can offer in the position you wish to function in that gives you a
clear understanding of your job description. However, a job description is the
description of the responsibilities associated with a given job. Take note of
    the word ‘responsibilities.’

    Assume
you are applying for a job as a sales representative. What are your
responsibilities? As a lecturer, secretary, teacher, engineer, research
assistant, computer operator, special assistant, head of department, and so on…
What are the responsibilities associated with your job position?

Read: 7 KEYS TO SUCCEED IN YOUR CAREER AND BUSINESS

    There
are so many people who are currently searching for jobs without knowing the
responsibilities associated with that position, and when they stand before the
employer, they are clueless—unable to answer necessary questions or express
themselves. Have the best qualifications without the knowledge of the
responsibilities associated with the job, and you will end up unemployed.

    After
graduation, try to figure out places you can work based on your qualifications
and academically acquired skills and training. For example, you studied
political science, sociology, public administration, theater arts, human
kinetics, human anatomy, software engineering, and so on. Identify places you
can be hired, find available vacancies and descriptions.

    When
you have identified where to work and the job description, here are the basic
documents frequently requested at any establishment for employment:

    Curriculum
    Vitae (CV):
This document is a written summary of a
person’s education, qualifications, and career, including address, contacts,
    and publications.

    Cover
    Letter:
A cover letter, or letter of motivation,
is a letter of introduction about yourself and your knowledge of the vacancy
    you are applying for.

    Application
    Letter:
This is a document that is prepared to answer
relevant questions by employers. It is used to determine the best candidate to
fill a specific role within the company. A well-written application letter can
give you a job where you are best qualified.

    I told
the lady, “Instead of pressing your phone and watching videos, why not walk
around and study the names of all the products in the supermarket, know their
names, brands, and functions, health benefits, and basic ingredients? Have
first-hand information and then know where they are located on the shelves, so
customers don’t need to walk around to look for what they come to buy.”

    She
did exactly as I advised. After some months, she became familiar with products
and their information and location. Customers became attracted to her and liked
her, showing them around the supermarket and introducing existing and new
products to them. She began to receive incentives from the establishment and
    appreciation gifts from customers.

    This
made the establishment raise her pay and plead with her to work full-time to
attract more customers and a steady flow of sales. A few months after she
became the branch manager, she was later promoted to the head office, and a few
years after her graduation, she opened her supermarket.

    How
did all this start? A well-written application letter, a structured curriculum
vitae, and an understanding of the job description. I felt that every sales
representative should know what she knew—it worked and is still working not
just for sales representatives, but in any field.

  • Entourage Loans vs Traditional Lending: Why More Businesses Are Switching to Micro Platforms

Entourage Loans vs Traditional Lending: Why More Businesses Are Switching to Micro Platforms

Entourage Loans vs Traditional Lending: Why More Businesses Are Switching to Micro Platforms

In Nigeria’s evolving financial landscape, trust, speed, and flexibility have become the new currency—and traditional banks are struggling to keep up.

For years, many small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in Nigeria have faced uphill battles trying to access credit from conventional financial institutions. Between high collateral requirements, drawn-out approval timelines, and rigid repayment terms, traditional lending models have created more roadblocks than bridges. But as microfinance platforms like Entourage Loans gain momentum, a growing number of entrepreneurs are rethinking where—and how—they borrow.

    *Why the Shift?*
Unlike banks, Entourage Loans was built from the ground up with small businesses in mind. Their focus isn’t on credit history or formal structures—it’s on business potential, community needs, and creating real economic value where it matters most.

Here’s how the two models compare:

    1. Speed vs. Delay
Bank processes are often bureaucratic, requiring weeks of paperwork, assessments, and approvals. Entourage Loans, by contrast, operates with speed and agility. Whether through digital tools or in-branch processes, loans are assessed and disbursed quickly, often within days—making it a lifeline for businesses that can’t afford to wait.

    2. Flexibility vs. Rigidity
While banks usually offer one-size-fits-all products, Entourage designs financial solutions around the realities of micro and small businesses. Flexible loan amounts, tailored repayment plans, and minimal documentation mean SMEs can access funding without being boxed in by red tape.

    3. Understanding vs. Assumption
Traditional lenders tend to favour corporates or formally structured businesses. Entourage, on the other hand, understands the informal sector, local markets, and what it takes to grow a business in Nigeria’s grassroots economy. Their branch presence in 29 states supports hyper-local decision-making that national banks simply can’t replicate.

    A Trust-Driven Alternative
One of the major undercurrents driving this shift is trust. SMEs are moving away from institutions that have historically denied them access and toward platforms like Entourage, where they feel seen, heard, and supported. It’s not just about money—it’s about a relationship with a financial partner that truly understands their journey.

A New Future for Nigerian SMEs

As more business owners discover that micro platforms like Entourage Loans offer credible, responsible, and efficient lending options, the tide is clearly turning. Traditional banks may still serve larger corporates, but for Nigeria’s real economy—the entrepreneurs, the traders, the startups—it’s agile, SME-first lenders like Entourage that are leading the way.

Whether you’re looking to boost cash flow, expand operations, or navigate a financial crunch, Entourage Loans offers the kind of partnership that puts your growth first—without the barriers of conventional finance.

The Fast Lane to Business Financing: How Entourage Is Leading the Quick Loan Revolution
    By SME Online Africa Contributor

In Nigeria’s high-speed business environment, waiting weeks for capital is no longer an option. Whether it’s restocking inventory, handling sudden operational costs, or seizing a new market opportunity, small businesses need financing that’s fast, flexible, and reliable.

That’s where Entourage Loans, a business-focused product from Entourage Integrated Trust, is making waves.

While many lenders talk speed, Entourage delivers it—with a streamlined loan process that helps business owners access working capital in as little as 24–48 hours. No red tape. No endless paperwork. Just capital, when and where it’s needed.

    Built for Nigerian Businesses

What sets Entourage apart isn’t just digital access – though it has that, too. What truly makes the platform stand out is its hybrid model: a tech-powered lending system supported by physical branches in over 29 states. This means whether you’re a trader in Anambra or a fashion entrepreneur in Lagos, there’s a way to apply that works for you.

And unlike many faceless loan apps, Entourage Loans is backed by a registered microfinance institution with years of field experience. It combines the speed of fintech with the credibility of a trusted lender – giving you peace of mind along with your capital.

A Loan for Every Business Need

Entourage understands that small businesses don’t all need the same kind of loan. That’s why its products go beyond one-size-fits-all solutions.

From microloans for informal traders to larger working capital for growing SMEs, Entourage offers a range of financing options tailored to meet your current stage of business. Repayment plans are built with cash flow realities in mind, helping you focus on growth rather than debt.

    Why More Entrepreneurs Are Switching

In a space filled with hidden fees, unreachable customer service, and unclear terms, Entourage Loans is winning over entrepreneurs with:
    • Transparent pricing
    • Flexible repayment schedules
    • Responsive support via branches and digital channels
    • Zero collateral for qualifying amounts

As more SMEs look for alternatives to rigid banking systems, Entourage is fast becoming the go-to partner for fast, accessible, and responsible financing.

    Final Thoughts

Access to finance shouldn’t be a bottleneck for business owners. It should be a bridge. And in Nigeria’s increasingly dynamic entrepreneurial landscape, Entourage Integrated Trust is building that bridge – one fast, fair loan at a time.
