ZupaNova Unites Music, Fashion, Culture, and Gaming with New Anthem “ONE” and Groundbreaking FORTNITE Experience.
Written by Rawcel and Davy Brown of ZupaNova, Eleanor Earl, and Bolaji “Phazehop” Williams, “ONE” is a powerful musical statement born from the vision of entertainment executive and songwriter Eleanor Earl—a vision centered on unity, cross-cultural collaboration, and positive global impact. By merging the creative forces of ZupaNova, a world music duo that has performed on many global stages and appeared with their clothing line at New York Fashion Week and LA Fashion Week, have set trends in both the worlds of fashion and music.
Roycel Cooks aka Rawcel is an artist, songwriter, producer, mentor, actor, and President of the ZupaLove International 501c3. He is founder of the Los Angeles-based international duo, ZupaNova. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Roycel has collaborated with global sensations like the Black Eyed Peas as an artist, writer and producer, and even introduced his former classmate Fergie to the group. She went on to become a member of the Black Eyed Peas.
Roycel has worked with Ray J, Randy Jackson, David Foster, Macy Gray, Lala Hathaway, Bell Biv Devoe, Aaron Neville, Tamia, Sevyn Streeter, Pau Gasol, Tiana Xiao and many other influential members of the entertainment industry.
The second half of the duo,Davy Brown, a native of Southern, California and a true musical polymath-is an accomplished multi-genre producer, recording artist, multi-instrumentalist, and audio engineer with expertise spanning all aspects of music production and beyond. With ZupaNova, Davy found the ultimate outlet for his creativity. The group’s unique combination of hip-hop, EDM, and pop, infused with cultural influences from Los Angeles’ diverse music scene, has allowed him to fully explore the boundaries of genre. His ability to blend different styles into a cohesive and innovative sound has become one of the hallmarks of ZupaNova’s music, setting the duo apart in the music industry.
ZupaNova has toured annually in the US, Singapore, Philippines, and Hong Kong. The duo has had single releases to hit the Top 40 list on Mediabase. ZupaNova’s “Pop Pop” hit #41 and ZupaNova’s “ Hot” hit #38 on the US pop charts in 2020-2021. In 2024, Roycel and ZupaNova were awarded the NAACP award for their community service and local nonprofit support. They also received the XMA’s 2024 Spotlight Artists of the Year awarded by the State of California’s Senate, the County of Los Angeles, and the City of West Covina.
In 2025, Roycel landed a starring role in the feature film A Heart Full of Hope, produced by Suzanne DeLaurentis & The Mendez Foundation. It was directed by Dale Fabrigar. ZupaNova wrote and produced the theme song for the movie, “Holiday,” that was released on Tazmania Records that year.
One of the most noteworthy results of bringing ZupaNova together with Phazehop, a Grammy- nominated creative genius who also produced the the genre-blending single, “ONE,” is that something incredibly uplifting and rare has been set into motion. This new song embodies the very essence of togetherness required to drive meaningful change in today’s world, which perfectly aligns with ZupaNova’s message and mission.
To that end, after several years of pushing the boundaries of innovation beyond music, Eleanor Earl, Founder and CEO of E. L. Earl Enterprises, secured a partnership with Game Changer Labs, formerly known as Raxplay, who are part of the highly regarded Creators Program for developers offered by FORTNITE. This program offers select developers access to over 200 million monthly gamers who are in search of engaging new content on the FORTNITE platform. Co-founders of Game Changer Labs, Carlos Davis-Shields (Head of Design) and Norvell Robinson(CTO) are award-winning technologists who are known for being steps ahead in the industry. Game Changer Labs is a technology implementation studio that designs and ships products across AI, neurotech, civic systems, and spatial computing.
Eleanor Earl, a graduate of New York University, Old Dominion University and the University of Virginia, has been a professor of English, film studies, and communication for many years. She is also a serial entrepreneur in the worlds of technology, education, and entertainment. Ms. Earl selected ZupaNova to be the first duo to have a game developed around their multi-genre sound with her already established gaming partnership. She has the good fortune of collaborating with some of the world’s most respected experts and emerging talent in film, television, music, and technology. She remains entrenched in education and technology as a partner with and advisor to ICARUS AI, an ed-tech company that combines e-learning, AI, and P2P courses. Ms. Earl is also an executive and partner at Simulatorr, an immersive training and AI Innovation company. Her unwavering commitment to exploring the synthesis of education, technology, and art is evident.
Ms. Earl chose the exceptional marketing team from Dreams Music Hall, based in Lagos, Nigeria, to work directly with her on further developing a marketing plan to launch ZupaWorld. This plan places Lagos, Nigeria, the homeland of Phazehop, as a centerpiece for sharing the song and groundbreaking meta verse of ZupaWorld at gaming centers, on billboards and on radio stations in Lagos. Ms. Earl identified Lagos, Nigeria as an ideal setting to share this special cross-cultural collaboration since Lagos is one of the main global centers for entertainment,
technology, and much more. It’s an ideal location to bring one of ZupaNova’s long-standing dreams into reality: the creation of their own immersive gaming universe and a collaboration of a lifetime with Nigeria’s own, Phazehop.
The result is ZUPPA WORLD, a brand-new FORTNITE experience scheduled to launch Saturday, March 7, 2026. It will officially feature the anthem “ONE,” seamlessly blending sound, storytelling, and interactive play. In a historic crossover moment, meta versions of both ZupaNova and Phazehop will appear as interactive characters within the game—marking a bold fusion of music, culture, and gaming.
In addition, fashion, something that is very much a part of ZupaNova, will be integrated into the world via branded sponsorships and advertising. Brands outside of fashion will also be an integral part of building out new experiences within ZupaWorld over the next year and a half. The game will also highlight emerging and established musical artists. The launch of ZupaWorld in FORTNITE on Match 7, 2026 will showcase two designer sponsorships of emerging luxe and streetwear designers Toni Smith(Toni Trillionaire) from the US and Nosizo Mahlangu(Tilé), from South Africa. Gamers will be able to take a break from their exciting battle royale escapades inside the game to visit ZupaWorld’s futuristic mall to do a bit of window shopping between sessions.
Several times a year, ZupaWorld will also feature in-game concerts and fashion shows featuring ZupaNova and other recording artists and fashion designers. The team is pleased to announce that one of ZupaWorld’s collaborators and highlighted brands will be Ronald “Doc” Holliday’s company, SOUNDCHK.ai, which will be showcased in ZupaWorld to offer gamers an enviable opportunity to receive tips from Doc’s Natural Voice TechniqueTM while inside of ZupaWorld. Doc Holliday is America’s premiere vocal coach, with almost thirty years’ experience training famous and successful singers, rappers, and public speakers. His elite clientele includes; Earth Wind & Fire, Britney Spears, George Clinton, Backstreet Boys, Justin Timberlake , Jonas Brothers, Jennifer Lopez, En Vogue, Brandy, Ray J, Tyrese Gibson, O Town, and many, many more.
