Sunny Afroholic, one of Afrobeat’s rising stars, just dropped his new single, “Love Don Die.” The track digs into how love feels different these days—tougher, sometimes disappointing, and not quite as real as it once seemed. He blends those signature Afrobeat rhythms with honest, soulful vocals, and you can really feel the weight behind his words.
In “Love Don Die,” Sunny doesn’t sugarcoat it. He lays out a world where real love seems like it’s slipping away. You hear it in his voice and his lyrics—he’s asking if true love is even out there anymore, or if it’s all just quick flings, selfishness, and people pretending to care.
The song’s got that classic Afrobeat percussion, smooth layers of instruments, and a storytelling style that hits close to home, especially if you’ve ever felt the messiness of love in our time. Sunny’s not just singing for the sake of it; he’s making a point about how relationships have changed, and he wants people to think about it.
Sunny says “Love Don Die” came straight from his own life and what he’s seen around him—how love sometimes gets twisted or taken for granted. He hopes the song pushes listeners to really consider what loyalty and real connection mean.
With this track, Sunny Afroholic keeps proving he’s a strong voice in the Afrobeat world. He’s got a knack for telling stories that cut across cultures and make people feel seen.
You can stream “Love Don Die” now on all the major platforms.
