The King of Trap Returns: Pappisman Drops ‘I AM THAT I AM (666)’
March 18, 2026, marked a seismic shift in the culture with the arrival of “I AM THAT I AM (666),” the definitive new album from the pioneer of Nigerian Trap Music, Pappisman. Released under his own powerhouse imprint, K.O.T Records, the 18-track project is a masterclass in creative independence and technical precision.
Proving his dominance both behind the mic and in the studio, Pappisman served as the primary architect for the album’s sound—producing 5 tracks and personally mixing and mastering the entire project. From the luxury-heavy vibes of “Cyber Truck” to the raw energy of “Out Da Mud,” the album is a high-octane journey through the “King of Trap” (K.O.T) legacy. With this release, the K.O.T Records founder reaffirms his status as a dual-threat force, delivering a polished, cinematic experience that is set to define the genre for years to come.
